đź‘‹ Hi! Orbit is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to establish and refine key elements of our go-to-market.

Orbit is the leading community growth platform that's changing the way companies see the strategic value of community to grow their business. We have early solid organic traction—our platform is in use by more than 4,000 communities and helps power teams behind products like CircleCI, Typeform, Apollo GraphQL, Agora, and others.

You'll be joining a 30-person, fast-growing organization, and you'll get to lead on positioning, product announcements, sales enablement materials, case studies, and more. This new role will impact our GTM strategy, product roadmap, and market segmentation.

You’ll play a crucial part in binding our product strategy to our tactics to drive sales and marketing success. With research and analysis, working closely with our product and community teams, you’ll become an expert on our emerging product category. You’ll use those insights to create clear profiles of our buyers and customers, refine our positioning, and create materials and messaging that resonates with our target audience.
You will collaborate with other members of the Growth team to develop programs and lead on launches that drive demand and present our product’s value proposition in a way that articulates how we solve current and potential customers’ problems.

Job requirements

We’re looking for someone with work experience along these lines:

  • Have 3+ years experience in product marketing or similar functions, defining personas, Jobs to be Done, and influence maps, ideally in a B2B SaaS context.

  • Enjoy working collaboratively with Design, Product, Sales, and Success teams and working with agencies and freelancers where needed.

  • You’re able to carry projects forward with discretion and little direction, delivering new materials and resources from start to finish.

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting experience for both internal and external audiences.

  • Have prior experience working in a startup environment, establishing processes from the ground up.

  • Demonstrated use of quantitative and qualitative data to track performance and know what’s working.

Orbit is a remote-first, fully distributed company with employees in many countries. Currently, we are focusing on hiring in France, the UK, or the US. However, if you're outside those countries but between the time zones of UTC-7 and UTC+3, and you're open to the complexities and trade-offs of full-time contracting, you are welcome to apply. The hiring process
